Attorney Profiles

Alexander Gray Hait

Mr. Alexander Gray Hait has been practicing law since 1992. After graduating from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1989, Mr. Hait went on to law school at New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts.

Following graduation, Mr. Hait practiced law for a year in New Jersey and New York with Horowitz & Horowitz specializing in personal injury and civil litigation.

Mr. Hait relocated to Atlanta, GA in 1993 and initially worked with Clark & Washington, P.C. specializing in personal injury and consumer bankruptcy. In 1997, Mr. Hait was hired by Rogers & Cates, P.C. to run their personal injury department. Mr. Hait also continued his work in consumer bankruptcy and began his career in domestic/family law.

As part of his move to Rogers & Cates, P.C. Mr. Hait also opened up an office for the firm in Woodstock, GA beginning the move to Woodstock that would culminate in the opening of Hait & Eichelzer.

Mr. Hait parted ways with Rogers & Cates in January, 2000 and opened up his own firm in Woodstock, GA. The law Offices of Alexander Gray Hait opened its doors at 102 Springfield Center Drive in Woodstock, GA in February, 2000. There was a total of one employee at that time.

Through dedication and long hours, Mr. Hait built his practice specializing in personal injury, bankruptcy and family law. In February, 2002, Mr. Kent Eichelzer joined the firm and in 2003 he became a partner and the firm's name became Hait & Eichelzer. Today, Mr. Hait is the senior partner of a five attorney, twelve person law firm, Hait & Eichelzer. The Firm specializes in family law, personal injury and consumer bankruptcy.

Mr. Hait's passion for family law comes from his own family. He is active in the community supporting various causes including the Nader Parman Run to raise money to prevent children's death in children's athletics, the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness, various athletic teams in Cobb and Cherokee Counties.

P. Kent Eichelzer, III

P. Kent Eichelzer, III has represented thousands of clients involved in a wide variety of personal injury matters. Mr. Eichelzer started off his legal career at Greer, Klosik, Dougherty, Swank & McCune whose main client was State Farm Insurance Company. Mr. Eichelzer knows the ins and outs of the insurance companies which gives his clients an advantage throughout his representation. Just as numerous prosecutors in the Georgia criminal courts have switched from prosecuting to criminal defense, Mr. Eichelzer has done the same by switching from insurance defense to prosecuting claims against insurance companies. Mr. Eichelzer is very comfortable in the courtroom and has tried numerous jury trials. Being raised in a small town in Iowa gives Mr. Eichelzer a strong work ethic when it comes to the representation of his clients. Some of the cases Mr. Eichelzer handle include auto accidents, wrongful death, bus accidents, drunk driving accidents, slip and falls, products liability, medical malpractice, and brain injury cases.

Mr. Eichelzer belongs to the Cobb County Bar Association, State Bar of Georgia, and The Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He is also a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and participates in GAPI, a personal injury forum for select Plaintiffs' attorneys. Mr. Eichelzer is highly involved with his family and sporting activities.

A graduate of Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, Mr. Eichelzer earned his Juris Doctor in Georgia . He is admitted to practice in the State and Superior Courts of Georgia, the State Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, and all federal courts.

Elizabeth J. Kuhn

Elizabeth Kuhn ("Lizz") began practicing law in 2005.  Prior to joining the team at Hait & Eichelzer, she graduated Cum Laude from West Liberty State College in West Liberty, West Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts Degree.  She moved from West Virginia to Connecticut where she taught middle school chorus in Stratford.  After two years of teaching her award winning Chamber Choir, Lizz attended New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts.

Lizz graduated Magna Cum Laude in the top 3% of her class and was decorated with several honors.  She received the West's Academic Excellence Award and was most likely to succeed in the practice of law.  While serving as the Business Managing Editor of the New England Law Review, she was most noted for her Symposium: From Stem Cell Research to Human Cloning: Where Do We Draw the Line? After completing the Honors Judicial Internship with the Massachusetts Family and Probate Court in 2004, Lizz decided to focus her emphasis on Family Law and Estate Planning.  She relocated to Georgia during the summer of 2005 to sit for the Georgia Bar. Since 2005, Lizz represented hundreds of clients in divorces, modifications, contempts, legitimations and paternity actions. Lizz' focus lies in the courtroom as an experienced litigator.  She also drafts Wills, Trusts, and other key documents to help guide you in your estate planning.

Lizz is a member of the Georgia Bar, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Family Law Section of the Georgia Bar, the Women's Bar and the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar. 

In her spare time, Lizz judges high school Mock Trial Competitions and is actively involved in the Marietta, Georgia legal community.

Lesley Annis

Lesley Annis is a member of the California and Georgia bars and has been practicing law since 1996.

Ms. Annis began her practice with the firm of Losch & Ehrlich, a boutique litigation firm located in San Francisco, California , which specialized in construction law and insurance defense.

In 1998, Mw. Annis moved to the Atlanta, Georgia area and practiced with the firm of Rachelson & White. While there, Ms. Annis branched out into bankruptcy law, specializing in creditors' rights and representing national, regional and local companies in the Northern District of Georgia Bankruptcy Court and the Georgia Court of Appeals. Ms. Annis' representation resulted in several published opinions with the Georgia Court of Appeals.

Thereafter, Ms. Annis branched out again to include in her practice the successful representation of corporations and individuals who required the protection provided by the bankruptcy laws.

In July, 2004, Ms. Annis joined the firm of Hait & Eichelzer in order to focus her practice exclusively on the representation of individuals and businesses in bankruptcy. Throughout her practice, Ms. Annis has successfully represented hundreds of clients from the commencement of their bankruptcy case through discharge. In addition, using her knowledge of creditors' rights, she has successfully negotiated with creditors on behalf of her clients.

Ms. Annis is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute. She currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia
